Can you "tangle"?

Updated: Mar 1, 2019

As you cuddle up to a warm fire and your favorite hot cocoa concoction on these cold winter days, you might consider stealing away for a couple of hours for a Zentangle® workshop.

Zentangle®? you might ask. Let’s try “tangling”. Have you heard of that? It’s okay if you haven’t. But I bet you’ve doodled before, right?

The dictionary defines tangling as “to bring together into a mass of confusedly interlaced or intertwisted threads, strands, or other like parts.” Yup, tangling – in the art world it’s the process of creating simple, abstract patterns using pen, paper & pencil. And you can do it too!

That’s why we’re excited to invite you to our February 17th Ledges ART BOX Party – Zentangle Workshop. And we’re thrilled that Jane Reiter, a Certified Zentangle® Teacher (CZT), has agreed to instruct this workshop.

Jane will show you how to bring out the artist inside you with the Zentangle® method. It’s easy to learn, relaxing and a fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. She will lead you every step of the way.

All you need to do is contact Jane at (517) 327-0938 or email her at janereiter@sbcglobal.net to register. The fee is $25/student and will include all the supplies you’ll need.

Class size is limited so don’t hesitate to give Jane a call. Get a few friends together, bring snacks and beverage of choice, and plan to enjoy a fun afternoon of imagination and inspiration.

Ledges ART BOX Party – Zentangle® Workshop, February 17th from 1:30-3:30pm at 120 S. Bridge Street, Grand Ledge, MI.
