I don’t know about you but when I think of Valentine’s Day, I think CHOCOLATE! No doubt about it I’m hooked on Chocolate, and I bet I’m not alone.
So, what can be better than to go from store to store and collect over 2 pounds of CHOCOLATE! Am I dreaming? Indeed, I’m not!
GLAR (Grand Ledge Area Retailers) is inviting you to join them for the Grand Ledge Bridge Street 1st Annual Grand Chocolate Walk on Saturday, February 9th from 10 am to 4 pm. The walk will take place downtown Grand Ledge on Bridge Street.
Here’s how it works:
First, BUY YOUR TICKET. The tickets are $12.00. These tickets will allow you to get a box on the day of the event in which you can collect all that Chocolate! And, because we’re only a couple of weeks away from all that melt-in-your-mouth sweetness – tickets are available for purchase ONLY until Saturday, February 2nd.
You can buy your tickets at the following local businesses:
CASH ONLY SALES:
ABOUT THE HOME, 218 S. Bridge Street CULP INSURANCE AGENCY, 214 E Jefferson Street LEDGE CRAFT LANE, 120 S. Bridge Street PAINTED TEAL, 200 S. Bridge Street PAM'S PANTRY, 312 S. Bridge Street
CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD SALES:
PAM’S PANTRY, 312 S. Bridge Street or Call Pam at 517-719-1308 to purchase by phone.
Next, on Saturday, February 9th, you’ll BEGIN YOUR CHOCOLATE WALK by starting out at The Hair & Nail Boutique. This cute little shop is located at 106 W. River Street directly behind Ledge Craft Lane.
It is at the nail shop that you’ll show your ticket and get your Chocolate Box. With the box, you’ll also get a list of all participating shops located on Bridge Street. These are the places you’ll want to stop and visit to pick up your Chocolates! Some local businesses not on Bridge Street will still be participating. They’ll be set up at one of the Bridge Street businesses for you to collect your Chocolates from.
Be sure to check at each location for “special sales” or “giveaways” that you can enter to win!!!
Currently there are twenty-four (24) participating businesses! GLAR will post a finalized list before the Walk.
Oh my gosh! What deliciousness awaits!!
You really need to share this with everyone you know. If a friend or family member finds out you didn’t share this Chocolate Walk with them, you might end up in the dog house instead of a boxful of decadent Chocolates!
There you have it. Buy your tickets before Saturday, February 2nd. On February 9th, get your Chocolate Box and have a blast downtown Grand Ledge, collecting all your Chocolates!
You can direct any questions to Holly Maidens-Bradley at 517-242-2177, Pam Redman at 517-719-1308 or Ann Lipkowitz at 517-290-5584.
Here’s to Chocolate Lovers everywhere!!
